Ponderay Invites Vendors and Sponsors to Join Tenth Annual Neighbor Day Celebration

The city of Ponderay, Idaho is actively recruiting vendors and sponsors for its tenth annual Neighbor Day celebration, a milestone edition of the community event that has drawn residents together each summer for a full decade.

Neighbor Day features a range of activities for all ages, including live music, a beer garden, kids crafts, carnival-style games, inflatables, and both retail and food vendors. The event has grown into one of Ponderay’s signature community gatherings since its founding, and city officials say this year’s anniversary edition carries added meaning.

“This year’s event will be a true celebration of our community and the event that has brought us together annually for a full decade,” city officials said in a statement promoting the milestone.

How to Become a Sponsor

Businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring Neighbor Day can obtain sponsorship forms through the city’s official social media accounts or by emailing [email protected]. Donations are accepted in multiple forms, including cash, check, credit card, and in-kind products or services.

City officials noted the dual benefit of participation for area businesses. “This event is a great way for businesses to support our community and raise awareness for your own business,” officials said.

Vendor Registration Details

Those wishing to set up a vendor booth must complete registration online and submit it to Ponderay City Hall. A $50 deposit is required to secure a space, though that deposit is returned to vendors at event check-in.

Booth spaces are limited, and the city works to prevent market overlap by avoiding duplicate vendor types where possible. When multiple vendors apply to sell the same type of product or service, priority is granted based on the order in which applications are received — making early submission especially important for those hoping to secure a spot.

The city encourages interested vendors and sponsors not to wait, as available spaces are expected to fill quickly given the event’s decade-long track record of strong community turnout.

Ponderay’s Neighbor Day is one of several community events bringing North Idaho residents together this summer. Sandpoint recently hosted the International Peace Run, a three-decade tradition celebrating the region’s welcoming spirit, and a Veterans Gathering in Sandpoint brought VA services directly to Bonner County residents in need of support.

Residents and businesses seeking more information on Neighbor Day sponsorship or vendor registration can reach out through the city’s social media pages or contact Ponderay City Hall directly at the email address listed above.
