Sasquatch Baseball Tryout Schedule
The Sandpoint Sasquatch baseball organization is hosting tryouts for all age groups next weekend, offering young athletes the chance to join competitive teams across multiple divisions.
The 16U and 18U divisions will hold tryouts on Thursday, July 31 at 5 p.m. at Pine Street Fields, located at 1572 Pine Street in Sandpoint. Younger divisions follow on Saturday, August 2, with the 14U group meeting at noon at Pine Street Fields, while the 10U and 12U athletes try out at 1 p.m., and the 11U and 13U divisions at 3 p.m., all at Travers Park (2016 Pine Street).
Interested players must register prior to attending. The Sasquatch direct athletes to complete a registration form available through the organization’s Facebook page at facebook.com/SandpointSasquatchBaseball.
The North Softball 14U Tryouts
The North Softball is also recruiting for its 14U team with tryouts scheduled for Thursday, August 1 at Colt Field at Sandpoint Middle School, 310 South Division Avenue.
The organization has structured the tryout in two segments: pitchers and catchers will meet at 10 a.m., followed by the full team tryout from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The North requests that participants arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for paperwork processing. Athletes must bring softball pants and socks to the tryout.
